A New Theme for a New Mood
I decided to completely overhaul this website with a brand new, brighter theme to reflect my now brighter mood. I was getting sick of looking at darkness while typing “I feel better!” since I made that dark theme when I was feeling less than stellar. My original idea for the color scheme was to have it match the blue and green of the walls of my office but then went for a slightly brighter cyan and aqua instead. I also put everything into rounded squares rather than how it was when it was a semi-transparent black layout just because it looked better to me this way as semi-transparent white. It took all night but I think the whole blog is now updated with the new colors. If you see anything using the old color scheme, please let me know. Thank you.
As you may have guessed, I am feeling much better. My increased activities, clean living area, return to counseling, and medication changes have finally all worked together to improve my mood and put me back on level ground. Yay! My sleep schedule is still messed up to some degree but it’s improving too. Now if I could just manage to get back to my art projects, all would be well. I just have to give myself a little more time, I think.
So what have I been doing? If you’ve been keeping up with this blog, then you know I’ve recently finished my Project Spring Clean which was to clean up all three of my rooms. I also have finished a surprise Part 4 to my Project Pop Renewal since I accidentally ran out of room for new Pops sooner than I expected to. Whoops! I have now made a bit more room for new Pops and will be selling a few old ones while I’m at it. I probably still need to make more room though. I did, just now in fact, find that I have a brand new 16″ shelf sitting in a drawer waiting to be hung up. I might just hang that up for new Marvel Pops but I haven’t decided yet. I’ll save that for another day and another project. For now, I’m focused on my newest project which I will be posting about soon, Project Décor which is my project about decorating my newly cleaned up rooms. That post will have lots of pictures/photos!
Right now my main focus is selling my extra Funko Pops and various random things I found during Project Spring Clean on eBay and elsewhere plus waiting for the release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition. I preordered it back in early March and have been waiting impatiently for it ever since. A little less than a week to go now… I can’t wait!!! Considering that I’ve played the original trilogy of Mass Effect games for literally thousands of hours, I’m sure I’ll get my money’s worth and then some. My Origin play hours count for Mass Effect Andromeda alone is currently passed the 1,000 hours mark! o.O I’ll be sure to write and post my thoughts on the game here on this blog in the Gaming Stuff section once I’ve played through it. I hope they release some new Funko Pops to go along with the game release. That would be the gold dusted cherry on top of an already amazing sundae.
Oh yeah, I now have two desktop computers! A while ago I built a desktop for my dad out of all the parts I took out of my desktop when I last upgraded. Well, he decided he doesn’t really need it so now I’ve got it. I got a cheap little desk to put in my bedroom for the computer to sit on and, once I get a wireless dongle to connect it to the internet, I’ll have two desktop computers up and running so I can really get to some multitasking! I also still have my old laptop too! I think I’ll save my main desktop for my art projects and high-end games since that’s what I built it for and it’s an absolute beast. The secondary desktop I’ll use for the Sims 4, modding the Sims 4, and everything else I do. The laptop will just be for surfing the internet, writing, and using while the other two computers are busy. I should be able to get some shit done now!
That’s all for now. I have some eBay sales to package up for shipping, need to make sure the present and card I got for my mom are ready for tomorrow, and do a few other things. Thanks for viewing and I hope to see you back here next time I make a post and you have some free time for reading.
